ROUTE: CENTRAL REGION: HO CHI MINH - TRAM CHIM - MA DA - CAT TIEN - SON TRA - DA NANG

• Tram Chim National Park – Home to more than 50 bird species, including rare waterbirds and wetland specialties. 

• Ma Da Reserve – A rich forest habitat sheltering over 30 bird species, ideal for both birdwatching and photography. 

• Cat Tien National Park – One of Vietnam’s most biodiverse treasures, where you may encounter not only diverse birdlife but also rare primates such as the Yellow-cheeked Gibbon, Red-shanked Douc Langur, and Annamese Silvered Langur. 

Arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport. Transfer to Tram Chim (4 hours). Check in and rest for the first bird photography adventure. 

Overnight at Tram Chim. 

Start your journey in the wetlands of Tram Chim, home to more than 50 bird species. Capture elegant waterbirds such as the Blue-tailed Bee-eater, Purple Heron, and other rare species in their natural environment.

Another full day at Tram Chim to maximize opportunities for photographing wetland birds in action—feeding, flying, and nesting among the reeds.

Transfer to Ma Da Reserve, a pristine lowland forest that shelters around 30 bird species. Photograph forest-dwelling birds in lush greenery, a refreshing change from wetlands to dense canopy. 

Enter Cat Tien National Park, a biodiversity hotspot with over 30 bird species. Start your exploration of forest trails with chances to capture broadbills, barbets, and woodpeckers. 

A full day photographing birdlife and searching for rare primates. Cat Tien is home to the Yellow-cheeked Gibbon, the striking Red-shanked Douc Langur, and the elusive Annamese Silvered Langur.

Continue bird photography deep in Cat Tien’s diverse habitats—riversides, wetlands, and ancient trees. Every corner offers new opportunities.

Final full day to capture the beauty of Cat Tien’s wildlife. Combine bird photography with unforgettable encounters with Vietnam’s unique primates. 

Back to Ho Chi Minh City. Conclude the trip with a rich collection of bird and wildlife photography.
